Because I can.

When you look at something too closely, every other thing fades from your vision and it seems like there’s nothing else in front of you. I do that a lot with all the bad that happens and then there’s no space for the good that is.

But I can.
I can take a step back.
I can take a step back and breathe and open my eyes.

And then I see that it takes away nothing from me that makes me who I am. It does nothing to me. So I let it go. Just because I can.
